Partnership in action off-season: At Audi’s invitation, international ski stars met for the Audi driving experience at the Audi Neuburg high-tech complex this Monday. The athletes demonstrated that they are perfectly able to follow a racing line also on tarmac.
During their visit to Upper Bavaria, exceptional athletes like Alpine Ski World Cup overall winner Lara Gut (CH) or Slalom shooting star Henrik Kristoffersen (N) impressively proved that they are running with the right grip not only on snow and ice. In the Audi RS 6 Avant and Audi R8 V10 plus, the prominent guests experienced the advantages of permanent quattro four-wheel drive in various facets – both on the dynamic course and the Neuburg handling course.
The invitation to the Audi driving experience was extended to athletes who had achieved outstanding results during the past winter sports season. In addition to Gut and Kristoffersen, the skiers traveling to Neuburg included Viktoria Rebensburg (D, 3rd place overall World Cup) and Kjetil Jansrud (N, 2nd place Super G World Cup) as well as Ski Cross Olympic gold medalist Jean-Frédéric Chapuis (F), Benedikt Mayr (D, Freeride World Tour) and Combination talent Jarl Magnus Riiber (N).
