Audi Q5 Hybride door Fourtitude

It’s true. Audi is readying a new Q5 hybrid and we’ve no doubt critics will cry “late to the party” or perhaps “followers” in the case of those who deem Toyota as the progenitor of all things hybrid. Not so though… on both counts. Audi was actually early to the party, producing their C3 100-based Audi duo, albeit only about ten of them. That first Audi duo dropped in 1989, beating the wonky sedan-shaped first-gen Prius to market by about eight years. Okay, just ten 100s may give Audi the win on a technicality, but we’re betting the upcoming Audi Q5 hybrid will help re-establish the brand as a leader in the electromobility arena.
